Is a society of lay people founded by Mrs Olivia Taaffe in 1895.

​

The purpose of the society is to foster vocations to the priesthood and religious life, to assist financially in the education of students for the priesthood.

 

​

The society works through branches, a group of committed people form a branch in their parish or workplace.

​

Knocknacarra Branch meet on the third Thursday of the month at 6.00pm in St.Joseph's Room ( back of the church)
