The Altar Servers in the Parish attend and serve at all the Masses each Sunday. They also serve at Church ceremonies throughout the year such as  Christmas and  Easter. The Servers are both Boys and Girls and normally serve at Mass in groups of three or four.

​

To become Servers in the Church children should have made their First Holy Communion and would normally continue as Servers until they reach the age of thirteen or are in 1st year in Secondary School. On joining the group of Servers all the children are given full training and a total understanding how to serve at Mass and support the Celebrant.

​

New Servers are always welcome and while much of the recruitment takes place through the local Primary Schools, this is not necessary as all children are welcome provided they meet the criteria.      ​
